Levosin, ointment 40 g

The ointment “LEVOSIN” has antimicrobial, local anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and regeneration stimulating effect.

It is active against staphylococci and gram-negative flora – Escherichia coli, Proteus and bacillus of blue pus.

The ointment easily penetrates deep into tissues transporting polyethylene glycol bound levomycetin and sulfadimethoxin.

Due to high dehydrating activity Levosin in short period (2-3 days) usually provides liquidation of perifocal edema and wound cleaning from purulent-necrotic content.

Methyluracil, contained in the preparation, accelerates wound healing by stimulating cellular protective factors.

Trimekaine is a local anesthetic agent, acts stronger and longer than Novocaine, is low-toxic and has no irritating effect.

“Levosin” has no cumulative and locally irritating properties.

How to take, the dosage

Special Instructions

Wound treatment (removal of necrotic tissue and irrigation with hydrogen peroxide solution) is required before dressing.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (including to components of the drug).
