Lespheflan, 100 ml

Lespeflan is a liquid extract obtained from the shoots of Lespedeza bicolor (Turcz.) of the legume family Fabaceae and contains a sum of flavonoids of at least 0.05% in terms of luteolin-7-glucoside.

The drug has diuretic, hypoazotemic action: increases glomerular filtration, decreases the concentration of nitrogenous metabolism products in blood, increases clearance of nitrogenous compounds (urea, creatinine and uric acid).

Indications

Lespeflan is used in adults for chronic renal failure of various origins in latent compensated and intermittent stages as part of complex therapy.

Special instructions

If hyponatremia develops, it should be compensated for by administering sodium supplements.

The maximum daily dose of the drug contains 18.9 g of absolute alcohol, as a result of which a decrease in the speed of psychomotor reactions is possible, which should be taken into account when driving vehicles and work that requires concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, liver disease, alcoholism, traumatic brain injury, brain diseases, pregnancy, lactation, children under 18 years of age.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions are possible, and in rare cases, hyponatremia.

Interaction

Due to the presence of alcohol, the drug should not be prescribed to patients receiving treatment with drugs that depress the central nervous system, insulin, hypoglycemic agents (metformin, sulfonylurea derivatives); drugs that cause alcohol intolerance (disulfiram-like effect).
