Lespfril, 100 ml

The complex of biologically active substances contained in Lespefril helps to increase renal filtration, reduces azotemia, increases excretion of nitrogenous slags with urine, increases diuresis, increases the excretion of sodium and to a lesser extent potassium.

Indications

For symptomatic therapy as a hypoazotemic and diuretic agent in chronic renal failure.

Active ingredient

Composition

Active substances:

the shoots of Lespedeza bicolor,

95% ethyl alcohol,

purified water,

anise oil.

How to take, the dosage

Lepefril is administered orally 5-15 ml (1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon) 3-4 times a day.

Lespefril is allowed to dilute the basic solution with water before use.

The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks.

The second course of treatment may be carried out after 2-3 weeks after consultation with the doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, breast-feeding period.

In connection with the presence of alcohol the drug should not be prescribed to patients receiving treatment with drugs depressing the central nervous system, insulin, antidiabetic drugs (metformin sulfonamides), drugs for the treatment of alcoholism.

Side effects

Allergic reactions.

In rare cases – hyponatremia (compensated by administration of sodium preparations).
