In low concentrations terbinafine has fungicidal effect against dermatophytes (Trychophyton rubrum, Trychophyton mentagrophytes, Trychophyton verrucosum, Trychophyton violaceum, Trychophyton tonsurans, Microsporum canis, Epidermophyton floccosum), molds (mainly Candida albicans) and some dimorphic fungi (Pityrosporum orbiculare).
