Lactazar® for children is recommended as a dietary supplement – an additional source of lactase enzyme, the lack of which is usually manifested by: increased gassiness, colic, unstable stools (diarrhea, constipation).

Deficiency of own enzyme is most common in infants during the first year of life with infantile colic, in children during or after intestinal disorders, with congenital lactase deficiency.

Lactase enzyme supplementation allows to maintain breastfeeding and eliminate the cause of colic in cases of lack of the enzyme in the intestine. Clinical research conducted by State Institution Research Institute of Nutrition RAMS showed that within 7 days the use of LACTAZAR® for children at the age of two weeks to three months old with the signs of the enzyme deficiency (colic, bloating, unstable stools) eliminated the symptoms of functional disorders of digestion.

Composition

Filler maltodextrin – 0.1355 g,

lactase enzyme – 0.013 g,

medium-chain triglycerides glide – 0.0015 g;

gelatin,

dyes: titanium dioxide, quinoline yellow (hard gelatin capsule).

1 capsule contains at least 700 units of lactase enzyme.

Nutritional and energy value of 1 capsule: 0.1 g protein, 0.1 g fat, 0.2 g carbohydrate; 3 kcal/15 kJ.

The hard gelatin capsule contains quinoline yellow dye, which may have a negative effect on activity and attention of children.

Only the contents of the capsule that do not contain this dye are intended to be taken orally.

Directions for use

Lactazar® for children is used at the rate of 1 capsule per 100 ml of milk or milk formula. LACTAZAR® for children should be given to the child at every milk feeding.

Please open the capsule before use and dissolve only the contents of the capsule in milk or milk food.

Children under 1 year of age on breastfeeding and mixed feeding

Just 5-10 ml of milk should be decanted before feeding. Pour the contents of the capsule into the milk and stir for 2-3 minutes. Start feeding with this portion, then finish feeding from the breast.

Infants up to 1 year of age on artificial feeding

Please add the contents of the capsule directly into warm (up to +37 °С) ready milk formula, mix thoroughly, in a few minutes start feeding.

Children from 1 to 5 years

The contents of the capsule add directly to warm (up to +37 °С) milk or to warmed food (up to +37 °С) containing milk, mix thoroughly, after a few minutes start feeding.

Children from 5 to 7 years

The capsule contents add to warm (up to +37 ° C) milk or warmed food (up to +37 ° C) containing milk, mix thoroughly, after a few minutes start feeding.
