Lace Dermatophagoides, #40

Chemically modified allergenic extract (monomeric allergoid from a mixture of mites): Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (50%) and Dermatophagoides farinae (50%): to weaken their ability to react with IgE antibodies.

This suppresses their allergenic activity and therefore provides a favorable immunotherapeutic effect while reducing the risk of local and systemic side effects, unlike natural allergens.

Indications

Sublingual allergen-specific immunotherapy (ASIT) for patients with hypersensitivity to a mixture of mites.

How to take, the dosage

The tablets are held under the tongue until completely dissolved, then swallowed.

The pills are taken on an empty stomach if possible.

The treatment has two phases.

Phase #1 is the maintenance dose phase (initial therapy); phase #2 is continuation of maintenance dose treatment (maintenance therapy).

Initial therapy. Treatment begins with 300 AU tablets and continues with 1000 AU tablets.

The treatment regimen.

The 300 AU tablet blister day 1: 1 tablet (equals 300 AU); day 2: 2 tablets (equals 600 AU); day 3: 3 tablets (equals 900 AU); day 4: 4 tablets (equals 1200 AU). From the following week, use a blister of 1000 AU tablets.

After the initial phase, treatment continues by taking 1 tablet per day at least 2-5 times per week. Maintenance therapy. Basic treatment is continued with 1000 AU tablets as described above for an entire year. The proposed schemes of treatment are given only as recommendations. Allergologist determines the regimen based on observations and anamnesis. It is recommended to continue treatment for 3 to 5 years.
