Iodine-activ – making up for iodine deficiency.

Iodine in the composition of Iodine-activ ® is actively absorbed in case of iodine deficiency, and in case of excess – is removed from the body without entering the thyroid gland.

This is due to the fact that the iodine is detached from the milk protein under the influence of liver enzymes that are produced when there is a lack of iodine. When there is enough iodine in the body the enzymes are not produced and Iodine-active ® is removed naturally, without being absorbed into the blood.

Iodine is a member of the thyroid hormones involved in the regulation of metabolism (including proteins, fats and carbohydrates), the functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems, reproductive and mammary glands, affecting the growth and development of children.
