Iodine-activ – making up for iodine deficiency.

Iodine in the Iodine-active ^® is actively absorbed in iodine deficiency, and in excess – is removed from the body without going to the thyroid gland. This is because iodine is detached from milk protein under the influence of liver enzymes that are produced when iodine is deficient. When there is enough iodine in the body, the enzymes are not produced and Iodine-active ^® is removed naturally without being absorbed into the blood.

Iodine is part of the thyroid hormones involved in the regulation of metabolism (including proteins, fats and carbohydrates), the functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems, reproductive and mammary glands, affecting the growth and development of children.
