Indications

adenoviral, hemorrhagic (enteroviral), herpetic conjunctivitis;
adenoviral, herpetic (vesicular, punctate, tree-like, map-shaped) keratitis;
herpetic stromal keratitis with and without corneal ulceration;
adenoviral and herpetic keratoconjunctivitis;
herpetic uveitis;
herpetic keratouveitis (with and without manifestations);
dry eye syndrome;
prevention of graft disease and prevention of relapse of herpetic keratitis after keratoplasty;
prevention and treatment of complications after excimer laser refractive surgery of the cornea.

Pharmacological properties

Special instructions

Patients using contact lenses should instill the drug only with the lenses removed and can put them on 15-20 minutes after instillation of the drug.

Do not exceed the maximum duration and recommended doses when using the drug independently. If there is no improvement or if the symptoms of the disease worsen, you should consult a doctor.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and machinery

Immediately after instillation, blurred visual perception is possible, so it is recommended to start driving vehicles or operating machinery a few minutes after instilling the drug.

The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible only as prescribed by the attending physician, if the expected effect exceeds the risk of complications in the fetus and newborns.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.

Interaction

The drug is compatible and goes well with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, corticosteroid, reparative ophthalmic drugs – stimulators of corneal regeneration and tear replacement therapy drugs.

If you are using any other medications at the same time (including over-the-counter medications), consult your doctor before using Interferon-Ophthalmo.

In original packaging at a temperature of 2 to 8 °C.

Shelf life

2 years. Store an opened bottle for no more than 30 days.
