A combination drug with antimicrobial and local anesthetic effect.

Chlorhexidine is an antimicrobial active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, yeasts, dermatophytes.

Effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria – Treponema spp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas spp., Chlamydia spp., Ureaplasma spp.

Contains activity (although somewhat reduced) in the presence of blood, pus, various secretions and organic substances.

Lidocaine is a local anesthetic.

The antimicrobial effect and adequate anesthesia develop 5-10 minutes after application of the drug.

The water-soluble clear gel provides clear optical vision during various endoscopic procedures.

Lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate 2 g;

Chlorhexidine bigluconate 0.05 g;

methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate 0.06 g;

propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate 0.025 g

How to take, the dosage

Externally.

Cystoscopy: 6-11 ml of gel is injected into the urethra after initial treatment of the external genitalia.

Cystoscopy: 6-11 ml of gel is injected into the urethra including the external sphincter and repeated if necessary.

Interaction

Avoid co-administration with iodine preparations.

MAO inhibitors increase the local anesthetic effect of lidocaine.

Incompatible with soaps and detergents containing the anion group (saponins, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose).

Compatible with medicines containing a cationic group (benzalkonium chloride)

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, including to alkyl-4-hydroxybenzoates.

Side effects

Overdose

Symptoms: In severe urinary tract injury there may be side effects associated with the systemic action of lidocaine ( (in the systemic action of lidocaine (bradycardia, seizures, collapse); in improper use of the drug orthostatic hypertension of central genesis is possible.

Treatment: in bradycardia – beta-adrenergic stimulants, in convulsions – barbiturates or short-acting muscle relaxants, in collapse – epinephrine or dopamine IV.

Pregnancy use

In the first trimester of pregnancy only if absolutely necessary.

In case of use during lactation, refrain from breastfeeding for 12 hours after using the drug.
