As a source of bifidobacteria Bifidobacterium lactis BL-04 complex “Immucil” influences the microflora (microbiota) of the gut and thereby contributes to the effectiveness of the immune system. Gut microbiome plays an important role at all levels of the body’s defense, from physical barriers to the formation of a specific immune response. Normal intestinal microflora performs protective, metabolic, trophic and immunological functions, influences the development and functions of lymphoid tissues, factors of innate and acquired immunity.

Bifidobacterium lactis BL -04 – anaerobic, gram-positive bacteria, which are part of the normal microflora of the large intestine. Studies have shown that taking Bifidobacterium lactis BL-04 reduces the incidence of upper respiratory tract infections. In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 465 men and women of different ages, the results showed that administration of Bifidobacterium lactis BL-04 at a dose of 2 billion colony-forming units (CFU) was associated with a 27 percent reduction in the incidence of wintertime respiratory tract infections. The strain Bifidobacterium lactis BL-04 is resistant to gastric hydrochloric acid and remains viable during passage through the gastrointestinal tract, which allows its use in the form of powder for oral administration.

The action of probiotic Bifidobacterium lactis BL-04 is enhanced and supplemented by other components of the complex: prebiotic (fructooligosaccharides) and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and the mineral zinc.

Fructo-oligosaccharides are natural carbohydrates with a short chain, derived from fructose. In their natural form, they are found in many plant foods. Fructooligosaccharides are utilized in the colon by most strains of bifidobacteria and some cultures of lactobacilli and have a pronounced prebiotic effect, stimulating the growth and development of beneficial intestinal microflora, as well as contributing to the inhibition of growth and activity of pathogenic intestinal microflora. Fructooligosaccharides normalize the intestinal function (improve digestion and absorption of nutrients, prevent the development of putrefactive processes in the intestines), promotes excretion of toxins, heavy metals and radionuclides. Against the background of regular consumption of fructooligosaccharides is normalization of the microbial biocenosis in the intestine, hormonal balance and immune system functions.

– Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is involved in regulating redox processes, carbohydrate metabolism, blood coagulation, tissue regeneration, increases resistance to infections, reduces the permeability of the vascular wall. Vitamin C plays an important role in maintaining the hormonal status of the body by participating in the synthesis of steroid hormones.

Zinc is a component of more than 300 enzymes, participates in the synthesis and decomposition of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, nucleic acids, regulates the expression of several genes, ensures the synthesis of insulin and other hormones, is necessary for tissue regeneration, helps to stabilize cell membranes, is a powerful factor of antioxidant protection.

Based on the above properties of the active components of the complex “Immucil” is recommended to maintain natural immunity and protection against upper respiratory tract infections (acute respiratory viral infections [ARI], pharyngitis, rhinitis and other diseases) at any time of the year and especially during high incidence of colds. Directions for use

Adults take 2 sticky bags a day with meals.

Open the stick and pour the contents (powder) onto the tongue, then wait until the powder has dissolved in the mouth and, if necessary, drink with room temperature water.

Do not drink hot liquid!

If necessary, it is possible to dissolve the contents of the stick pack in 200 ml or more of room temperature water before consumption.
