Hydroperitol, tablets 1,5 g 8 pcs

Hydroperite belongs to the group of antiseptic oxidizing agents and is a complex compound of hydrogen peroxide with urea.

When hydroperitol interacts with such body enzymes as catalase and peroxidase, oxygen is released with hemostatic and antimicrobial effects, so the drug can be used instead of the prepared hydrogen peroxide solution.

In its use only a temporary reduction in the number of microorganisms occurs, so it is not advisable to use the product as a means of sterilization.

Indications

Hydropyrite in the form of a water solution is used for rinses and gargles for stomatitis, angina, gynecological diseases, as well as for washing small surface wounds, for capillary bleeding from surface wounds, nosebleeds.

1 tablet for preparing a solution for topical use contains:

How to take, the dosage

To obtain a solution (to wash wounds) corresponding to approximately 1% hydrogen peroxide solution, 2 tablets are dissolved in 100 ml of boiled water.

To rinse the mouth and throat, 1 tablet is dissolved in a glass of water (corresponding to 0.25% hydrogen peroxide solution).

Special Instructions

Do not use under occlusive dressings. Solutions of hydroperitol should not be injected into deep wounds and cavities.

The aqueous solution of the drug is unstable in an alkaline environment, in the presence of metal salts, complex radicals of some oxidants, as well as in the light and heat.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Hydropyrite.

Side effects

A burning sensation may occur during treatment of the wound; in some cases – allergic reactions.

Long-term use of hydroperitide for mouthwash may cause hypertrophy of the papillae of the tongue.
