Hydrocoll is a sterile self-adhesive absorbent hydrocolloid wound dressing covered with a gas permeable, water repellent film that prevents the penetration of microorganisms.

Contraindications

Clinically infected wounds, fungal infections, third degree burns, areas of exposed bones, muscles, tendons.

Storage conditions

In a dry place, at a temperature from +5°C to +30°C.

Functional features

Upon contact with a wound, the hydrocolloid traps wound exudate, resulting in a gel that provides a moist environment for healing.
The gel layer prevents Hydrocoll from sticking to the wound.
The dressing does not irritate granulation or epithelial tissue and causes minimal discomfort to the patient.
The gel retains its absorbency until the hydrocolloids are saturated, which is manifested by deformation of the bandage in the form of a bubble.
