Interaction

The simultaneous use with anti-cough drugs, including codeine-containing drugs, is not recommended.

Compatible with bronchodilators, antibacterials and other drugs taken in the treatment of bronchopulmonary diseases.

Special Instructions

The drug should not be used to treat persistent or chronic cough, cough with bronchial asthma and cough accompanied by excessive sputum secretion, unless the use of the drug is recommended by a physician.

If after 3-5 days of taking the drug the cough persists, or along with cough there is a fever, rash, prolonged headache, a doctor should be consulted.

Information for people with diabetes: The carbohydrate content of one dose of this medicine is 0.75 bread units (BE).

The medicinal product Hexo Broncho contains 96% ethanol (0.5 ml/10 ml syrup). The ethanol content should be considered in patients with alcoholism, women during pregnancy and lactation, children and high-risk groups, such as patients with liver diseases, epilepsy, craniocerebral trauma, brain diseases.

The metabolite of guaifenesin may cause color changes in the determination of 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid and vanillylmindalic acid in urine. The medication should be discontinued 24 hours before urine collection for this test.

If the medication has expired or is out of date, do not pour it down the drain or throw it outdoors! Place the medication in a bag and put it in the trash. These measures will help protect the environment!
