Hemodez-N, 400 ml

The drug with detoxifying action.

The mechanism of action is due to the ability of low molecular weight povidone to bind toxins circulating in the blood and quickly remove them from the body.

Hemodez-N increases renal blood flow, increases glomerular filtration and increases diuresis.

Hemodez-N differs from hemodez with a lower molecular weight of polyvinylpyrrolidone used for its manufacture.

The lower molecular weight of the polymer accelerates its elimination from the body by the kidneys and improves the detoxification properties of the drug.

Indications

Detoxification therapy in:

-toxic forms of acute infectious intestinal diseases (dysentery, salmonellosis);

-peritonitis (in the postoperative period);

-liver disease accompanied by the development of liver failure;

-burn disease;

-sepsis;

-hemolytic disease of newborns;

-infant infection and toxemia in newborns.

Composition

The infusion solution is clear, light yellow or yellow.

How to take, the dosage

The solution should be warmed to body temperature before administration.

The drug is administered by IV dropwise at a rate of 40-80 drops/minute. The single dose depends on the age of the patient and the severity of intoxication. The initial dose for children is 2.5 ml/kg of body weight.

The maximum single dose depending on the age of the patient is given in the table:

The drug is administered 1-2 times/day depending on the severity of intoxication.

Interaction

Drug interactions of the drug have not been described.

Special Instructions

If allergic reactions occur when administering the drug, the infusion should be stopped immediately and symptomatic therapy (antihistamines, cardiotonics, GCS, vasoconstrictors) should be administered.

The occurrence of adverse reactions when administering Hemodez-N at an increased rate may require the administration of vasoconstrictors and cardiotonic drugs, calcium chloride

Contraindications

-hemorrhagic stroke;

-cardiovascular insufficiency;

-high sensitivity to the drug.

Side effects

Possible: (if administered at an increased rate) – arterial hypotension, tachycardia, difficulty in breathing.

In isolated cases: allergic reactions up to anaphylactic shock.

Overdose

There are no data on overdose of Hemodez-N.
