Hemodez-N, 200 ml

Pharmacological action – plasma substitution, disintoxication, anti-aggregation.

The mechanism of action is due to the ability of low molecular weight povidone to bind toxins circulating in the blood and quickly remove them from the body.

Indications

As a detoxifying agent in toxic forms of acute infectious intestinal diseases (dysentery, salmonellosis, etc.) – as a means of detoxification in the postoperative period in peritonitis – in liver diseases accompanied by development of liver failure – in burn disease, sepsis as well as hemolytic disease in newborns, intrauterine infection and toxemia in newborns.

potassium chloride 42 mg,

How to take, the dosage

Intravenous drip.

The solution is heated to body temperature before administration. The solution is administered by IV dropwise at a rate of 40-80 drops per minute. The single dose depends on the patient’s age and severity of intoxication. For adults, the maximum single dose is 400 ml.

In children it is started with 2.5 ml/kg. Maximum single dose for children of infants is 50 ml, for children of 2-5 years old – 70 ml, for children of 6-9 years old – 100-150 ml, for children of 10-15 years old – 200 ml.

The drug is administered 1-2 times a day depending on the severity of intoxication.

Special Instructions

Single and multiple freezing has no effect on the quality of the drug.

Frozen vials should be kept at room temperature until thawed and the contents stirred.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug – cerebral hemorrhage – cardiovascular insufficiency.

Side effects

Injection at a slow rate usually causes no complications.

Injection at an increased rate may cause lowering of BP, tachycardia, difficulty in breathing and require administration of vasoconstrictors and cardiac agents, calcium chloride.

In some patients allergic reactions may occur, up to and including anaphylactic shock.

In such cases the infusion must be stopped immediately and symptomatic therapy (administration of antihistamines, cardiotonic and vasopressor agents, glucocorticoids) must be carried out.
