Chamomilla vulgaris (German or wild chamomile) is a bush plant that grows spontaneously in large numbers everywhere in Europe. Chemical composition: flavonoids with sedative and antispasmodic effect; essential oil containing lactone (matricin) and sesquiterpenes (hamazulene, alpha-bisabolol); coumarins.

The drug has anti-inflammatory, antifungal (especially against infections caused by Candida), antibacterial and anti-ulcer effects.
