Chorionic gonadotropin 5000 units;
Associates

In women for induction of ovulation – a single dose of 5000-10000 IU, for stimulation of the corpus luteum function – 1500-5000 IU on days 3-6-9 after ovulation.
For induction of superovulation during assisted reproductive interventions – up to 10000 units once after induction of multiple follicle growth, which is achieved by stimulation according to the established scheme. The egg collection is carried out 34-36 h after the introduction.
In case of habitual abortion the administration is started as soon as the pregnancy is diagnosed (but not later than within 8 weeks) and is continued till the 14th week of pregnancy inclusive: on the 1st day – 10000 IU, further in 5000 IU twice a week.

For hypogonadotropic hypogonadism: 1500-6000 units (in combination with menotropins) once a week. For the differential diagnostics of cryptorchidism and anarchism in boys and for evaluation of testicular function in hypogonadotropic hypogonadism: once- 5000 units.
In case of cryptorchidism: up to 6 years of age – 500-1000 units 2 times per week for 6 weeks; over 6 years of age – 1500 units 2 times per week for 6 weeks.
In idiopathic normogonadotropic oligospermia – 5000 units weekly for 3 months along with menotropins. In oligo- and asthenospermia caused by relative androgen insufficiency – 2500 IU every 5 days or 10000 IU once every 2 weeks during 3 months.
Interaction
Gonadotropin chorionic is used in combination with gonadotropin menopause in the treatment of infertility.
Special Instructions
The drug is ineffective in men with high levels of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH).
Preterm puberty may occur in adolescent males with physical and sexual development disorders if prolonged treatment or high doses are used.
Unreasonably prolonged use of the drug in cryptorchidism, especially if surgical intervention is indicated, can lead to degeneration of the sex glands.
Inhibition of FSH production due to stimulation of androgen and estrogen production promotes atrophy of the seminal tubules.
Prolonged administration may lead to the formation of antibodies to the drug.
Increases the likelihood of multiple pregnancies.
Possible erroneous results when using a pregnancy test during treatment with the drug and for 7 days after discontinuation.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pituitary tumor, hormone-active tumors of reproductive glands (including androgen-dependent), absence of glands (congenital or after surgery), early onset of menopause, thrombophlebitis, lactation, ovarian cancer, hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, hyperprolactinemia, fallopian tubes obstruction.
With caution: adolescence, coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension, chronic renal failure, bronchial asthma, migraine.
Side effects
Local reactions (pain at the injection site, hyperemia);
Allergic reactions;
Headache;
