Special instructions

Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using suppositories.

Systematic use is not recommended.

Treatment is stopped after restoration of normal intestinal motility.

It is not recommended to use suppositories for longer than 1 week.

Do not lubricate suppositories with mineral liquid or solid oils.

Hypersensitivity to glycerol or any of the components of the drug.

Irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, bleeding, diarrhea, acute hemorrhoids, anal fissures, inflammatory diseases and tumors of the rectum, undiagnosed abdominal pain, hemorrhagic rectocolitis, children under 5 years of age.

With caution:

Kidney failure.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions, local reactions (itching, burning in the anus), the appearance of cramping pain in the intestinal area.

With prolonged use, phenomena of irritation of the rectum and weakening of the physiological process of defecation are possible.

A symptom of an overdose is frequent loose stools.

Recommendations for use

Rectally.

The drug is injected into the rectum and left there for at least 5 minutes. Typically, defecation occurs 5-10 minutes after administration of the drug. The remains of the suppository are excreted from the intestines with feces.

Children from 5 to 12 years old are prescribed 1 suppository containing 1.24 g of glycerin, 1 time per day. Children over 12 years of age and adults are prescribed 1 suppository containing 2.11 g of glycerin, 1 time per day. If necessary, the dose is increased to 2 suppositories per day.

At a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of the reach of children.
