Glue BF-6, alcohol 15 g

Isolating, wound-healing, antiseptic agent.

The BF-6 glue has wound healing and antiseptic properties.

It is used as an insulating agent and promotes healing of small skin wounds due to formation of an insulating film on their surface.

The film is elastic and resistant to mechanical and chemical effects.

The coating of BF-6 glue creates conditions of isolation of microflora of small root canals from products of tissue destruction.

Composition

BF-6 glue is an alcoholic solution of a special synthetic phenol-formaldehyde resin,

Polyvinylbutyrene and rosin with the addition of plasticizer.

How to take, the dosage

BF-6 glue is used topically in adults and children.

Before applying the drug, an area of the skin is thoroughly cleaned of dirt. Use a cotton or gauze swab to stop bleeding and dry the area to be covered with glue.

The glue is applied to the skin in a thin, even layer until the affected area and the adjacent undamaged tissues are completely covered. Once dry, an elastic film is formed which does not require additional dressing.

If the integrity of the film is compromised, a new film is applied on top of it.

In surgical treatment of peri-root infections, the tooth root is thoroughly cleaned of granulation and cyst sheathing, the bleeding is stopped, the bleeding is dried and the part of the tooth root which projects into the jawbone defect is covered with adhesive, without allowing the adhesive to drip onto the bone.

1-2 minutes later the wound is dried, making sure that the periorbital defect of the jaw is filled with a blood clot. Further management of the postoperative period is normal.

The film forms within 2-5 minutes after application of BF-6 glue and is firmly held on the skin for 2-3 days, and on the apex of the tooth root up to 7 days.
