Ginkgo Biloba-VIS capsules 0.4 g, 40 pcs.

Biologically active substances of Ginkgo biloba leaf extract promote strengthening and increasing elasticity of the vascular wall, improve rheological properties of blood and as a consequence improve microcirculation, supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain and peripheral tissues. The drug improves cerebral circulation, has cerebroprotective properties.

Limits the permeability of the vascular wall (anti-inflammatory effect – both at the level of the brain and the periphery). The drug normalizes metabolism in cells, prevents red blood cell aggregation and inhibits platelet activation factor.

Inhibits increase of fibrinolytic activity of blood.

Inhibits the formation of free radicals and lipid peroxidation of cell membranes. It has a dose-dependent regulatory effect on the vascular system; it dilates small arteries, increases the tone of veins and regulates the filling of blood vessels.

The drug increases resistance of the body to hypoxia, especially brain tissue, inhibits the development of traumatic or toxic cerebral edema.

How to take, the dosage

Ginkgo Biloba C is taken orally, with or after meals, 2 or 3 times daily with water. The capsules should be swallowed whole.

Discirculatory encephalopathy: 120-160 mg of standardized extract daily.

Asthenic disorders: 240 mg per day.

Dementia: 120-240 mg per day.

Disorders of peripheral circulation and microcirculation: 120-160 mg daily.

In other cases: 120-160 mg daily.

The daily dose may be increased upon doctor’s recommendation.

The course of treatment is from 3 to 6 months.

Clinical improvement is seen after about 4 weeks of treatment.

The positive effect persists with long-term use.

The second course may be done after consultation with a physician.
