Gedelix, syrup 100 ml

Hedelix is a remedy of plant origin.

It has anti-inflammatory, wound healing, antioxidant effect.

The saponins exhibit antibacterial and antifungal activity.

The triterpenoids alpha-hederin, hederosaponins have antispasmodic, mucolytic and expectorant action.

Flavonoids (rutin, kaempferol derivatives) improve microcirculation, exhibit hepato- and nephroprotective properties, increase diuresis, and promotes the removal of uric acid salts.

Ivy leaf extract (2.2-2.9:1) 0.8 g;

Associates:

macrogoal glyceryl hydroxystearate – 0.5 g;

Anise starfruit oil – 0,015 g;

Hyetellose – 0,15 g;

Sorbitol 70% solution (noncrystallizing) – 50 g;

Propylene glycol – 13.877 g;

Glycerol – 10 g;

Purified water – 39.9605 g.

How to take, the dosage

Ingestion, after meals.

If the doctor has not prescribed a different dosage, Gedelix should be taken:

The package contains a measuring spoon. 1 scoop equals 5 ml.

Hedelix is recommended for adults and adolescents to take undiluted.

Infants and small children should take Gedelix diluted in a small amount of water.

The duration of the drug depends on the severity of the disease, but should be at least 7 days. After the symptoms of the disease have disappeared, it is recommended to continue treatment with the drug for 2-3 days.

Special Instructions

In case of absence of therapeutic effect after taking the drug for 4-5 days or deterioration of the patient’s condition (occurrence of attacks of choking, purulent sputum, fever) the patient should immediately consult a physician.

For diabetic patients: Since Gedelix® contains no sugar, it can be used by diabetic patients. 1 scoop (5 ml) contains 1.75 g of sorbitol (corresponds to 0.44 g of fructose), which corresponds to 0.15 units.

Impact on the ability to drive a car or perform work requiring increased speed of physical and mental reactions. Administration of the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and perform other potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.

Contraindications

Side effects

Possible: allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

In rare cases: pain in the epigastric region.

If any of the side effects listed in the instructions worsen, or if any other side effects not listed in the instructions occur, you should tell your doctor.

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastroenteritis are possible.

Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.
