Gedelix, drops 50 ml

Hedelix is a remedy of plant origin. It has anti-inflammatory, wound healing, antioxidant effect.

Saponins exhibit antibacterial and antifungal activity.

The triterpenoids alpha-hederin, hederosaponins have antispasmodic, mucolytic and expectorant action.

Flavonoids (rutin, kaempferol derivatives) improve microcirculation, show hepato- and nephroprotective properties, increase urine output, and promotes the removal of uric acid salts.

Indications

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and bronchi, accompanied by cough with sputum difficult to remove.

ivy leaf extract (2.2-2.9:1) – 4 g;

Associates:

Propylene glycol – 83.69 g;

Glycerol – 20 g;

flavoring (100 g of cough drops flavoring contains star anise oil – 47,95 g; eucalyptus oil – 24,65 g; levomenthol – 27,4 g) – 0,13 g;

Pearmint oil – 0,03 g.

How to take, the dosage

Ingestion, after meals.

If the doctor has not prescribed a different dosage, Gedelix should be taken 3 times a day.

The drug should be taken undiluted and with plenty of water (up to 1 cup).

Shake well before use.

The duration of the drug depends on the severity of the disease, but should be at least 7 days. After the symptoms of the disease disappear, it is recommended to continue treatment with the drug for 2-3 days.

Interaction

The drug should not be used at the same time as an anti-cough medicine because it makes it difficult to drain the diluted sputum.

Special Instructions

If the patient’s condition does not improve, or if there are episodes of choking, purulent sputum, or if the body temperature rises, consult a physician immediately.

Impact on the ability to drive or perform work requiring increased speed of physical and mental reactions

The use of the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially dangerous activities requiring increased concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.

Contraindications

Side effects

Possible: allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

In rare cases: pain in the epigastric region.

If any of the side effects listed in the instructions worsen, or if any other side effects not listed in the instructions occur, you should tell your doctor.

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastroenteritis are possible.

Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.
