Gaevkamen is a combined remedy of plant origin.

The action is caused by reflex reactions associated with irritation of the sensitive nerve endings of the skin and subcutaneous formations.

It has a local irritating (“distracting”), mild local anesthetic effect.

Indications

Distractive and analgesic for muscle and joint pain.

Pharmacological effect

Special instructions

After applying the ointment, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Avoid getting the ointment in the eyes and mucous membranes. If the drug gets into your eyes or mucous membranes, rinse them thoroughly with water and consult a doctor.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Active ingredient

Camphor, Levomenthol, Eucalyptus globulus leaf oil

Composition

Each tube contains:

levomenthol – 4.5 g;

racemic camphor – 2.5 g;

eucalyptus oil – 2.5 g;

clove oil – 0.25 g,

petroleum paraffin solid,

soft white paraffin.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to essential oils of mint, clove, eucalyptus, plants of the myrtle family; violations of the integrity of the skin; children under 18 years of age.
The presence of skin diseases in the areas where the drug is applied (pyoderma, dermatitis, eczema).
Epilepsy, history of seizures (including febrile), tendency to bronchospasm, bronchial asthma, whooping cough. Pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions are possible; burning, tingling, feeling of cold in the areas where the ointment was applied.

Storage conditions

In a place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 20°C.
