Gaviscon Double Action, 10 ml suspension 12 pcs

Geviscon® Dual Action effectively relieves both heartburn and digestive disorders: 1) quickly neutralizes excess stomach acid; 2) enters the stomach and interacts with its contents, forming a protective barrier (raft) that prevents the onset of heartburn.

Geviscon has an antacid effect. When taken orally Gaviscon quickly reacts with the acidic contents of the stomach. It forms an alginate gel which prevents the occurrence of gastroesophageal reflux. In regurgitation, the gel is more likely than the contents of the stomach to enter the esophagus, where it reduces mucosal irritation.

Indications

Symptomatic treatment of dyspepsia associated with increased acidity of gastric juice and gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn, sour belching);feeling of heaviness in the stomach after a meal, including during pregnancy.

How to take, the dosage

Adults and children over 12 years: 10 – 20 ml after meals and before going to bed (up to 4 times a day).

The maximum daily dose is 80 ml.

There is no need to change the dose for elderly patients.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of Gaviscon; children under 6 years of age.
