Chemical composition:
essential oil;
organic acids (quinic, gallic and caffeic);
tannins (gamamelitanin, procyanidols);
ethyl gallate, which has antibacterial properties;
flavonol glycosides.

Procyanidols and flavonol glycosides provide anti-inflammatory and vasoactive effects.
