As an additional source of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) omega-3, including: eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic. They are not synthesized in the body and should be regularly taken in food.

Polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, being precursors of the active and important bioregulators – eicosanoids E3, affect the process of thrombosis, blood vessels’ tone and the immune status of the body.

Included in the lipid bilayer of cell membranes, polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids regulate their microviscosity, permeability, form the appropriate lipid environment of membrane proteins and enzymes.
