How to take, the dosage

Overly, without chewing, with or immediately after a meal, drinking a small amount of liquid.

Adults: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. Higher doses are prescribed by the doctor. Children over 6 years of age (by doctor’s prescription) – 1 tablet 2-3 times a day.

The duration of treatment may vary from a few days (when digestion is disturbed due to errors in the diet) to several months or years (if permanent replacement therapy is necessary).

Before an x-ray examination or ultrasound – 2 tablets 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days before the examination.

Interaction

Cimetidine, antacids increase the effect. Reduces the bioavailability of iron preparations.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, biliary obstruction, jaundice.

Side effects

Nausea, spastic abdominal pain, diarrhea, painful sensations in the mouth and in the anus (in children), increased uric acid concentration in blood and urine, allergic reactions (sneezing, lacrimation, urticaria, bronchospasm).
