Indications

Insufficiency of exocrine pancreatic function in cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis;
after pancreatectomy;
when the pancreatic duct is compressed by a tumor;
steatorrhea with malabsorption syndrome;
conditions after gastrectomy, dyspepsia in case of errors in nutrition;
for chronic diseases of the digestive system (especially in the elderly) and in patients on long-term bed rest, preparation for x-ray and ultrasound examination of the abdominal organs.

Composition

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, bile duct obstruction, jaundice.

Side Effects

Nausea, cramping abdominal pain, diarrhea, pain in the mouth and anus (in children), increased concentration of uric acid in the blood and urine, allergic reactions (sneezing, lacrimation, urticaria, bronchospasm).

Interaction

Cimetidine and antacids enhance the effect. Reduces the bioavailability of iron preparations.
