The drug Enerion is a synthetic compound similar in structure to thiamine.

The sulbutiamine molecule has an open thiazole cycle, an additional disulfide bond and a lipophilic ester.

This modification makes it quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and easily passes through the GEB.

In contrast to thiamine, it is able to accumulate in cells of the reticular formation, hippocampus and dentate gyrus, as well as in Purkinje fiber cells and cerebellar granular layer cells of the cerebellar cortex.

Anerion improves coordination of movements and increases resistance to physical stress, increases resistance of cortical structures to repetitive hypoxia.

Sodium bicarbonate, 0.603 mg; sodium carboxymethylcellulose, 0.556 mg; white beeswax, 0.201 mg; titanium dioxide (E171), 8.43 mg; ethylcellulose, 0.485 mg; “Sunset” yellow (Sunset yellow FCF, E110) – 3 mg; glycerol monooleate – 0.242 mg; polysorbate 80 – 0.302 mg; povidone – 0.692 mg; sucrose – 106.956 mg; colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide (Aerosil 130) – 0.404 mg, talc – 28.21 mg.

How to take, the dosage

Ingestion. The drug Enerion is recommended for use in adult patients only.

The daily dose is 2-3 tablets (400-600 mg) in 2 doses (during breakfast and lunch).

The duration of treatment should not exceed 4 weeks.

Special Instructions

The excipients of Enerion include lactose monohydrate. Due to this fact, this drug is not recommended for persons with lactose deficiency, galactosemia or glucose/galactose malabsorption syndrome.

Impact on the ability to drive a car and perform work requiring high speed psychomotor reactions. No effect.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of Enerion.

With caution: persons under 18 years of age (the drug is not recommended due to lack of clinical data).

Pregnancy use

According to the results of clinical studies, the drug does not affect the development of the fetus.

Particularly in the absence of sufficient clinical data, however, it is not recommended to take Enerion during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, because it is currently unknown whether sulbutiamine is able to penetrate into the breast milk.
