Elevit Pronatal is a vitamin and mineral complex, which is recommended to take during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy. It contains 12 basic vitamins, 4 minerals and 3 trace elements. The quantity of vitamins and minerals corresponds to the doses recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.
Vitamin A is involved in the synthesis of various substances (proteins, lipids, mucopolysaccharides) and contributes to the normal functioning of the skin, mucous membranes and organs of vision.
Vitamin B1 normalizes the activity of the heart and contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Vitamin B2 helps the regeneration of tissues, including skin cells.
Vitamin B6 helps maintain the structure and function of bones, teeth, gums.
Vitamin B12 is involved in erythropoiesis, contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system. B vitamins are involved in the formation of various enzymes that regulate different types of metabolism in the body.
Vitamin C is involved in the oxidation of a number of biologically active substances, the regulation of metabolism in connective tissue, carbohydrate metabolism, blood coagulation and tissue regeneration, stimulates the formation of steroid hormones, and normalizes capillary permeability.
Vitamin D3 plays an important role in maintaining the balance of calcium and phosphorus in pregnant women. If children are deficient in vitamin D, they develop rickets.
Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant.
Biotin is involved in metabolic processes, promotes the absorption of protein.
Calcium pantothenate is involved in the metabolism of fats, proteins and carbohydrates.
Folic acid stimulates erythropoiesis and prevents the development of congenital malformations (defects of the neural tube).
Nicotinamide participates in redox processes, ensures the transfer of hydrogen and phosphate.
Magnesium is also involved in the formation of muscle and bone tissue and in the synthesis of protein.
Iron is part of the molecule of hemoglobin, is involved in the transport of oxygen in the body and prevents the development of anemia, including during pregnancy.
Phosphorus, along with calcium, is involved in the formation of bones and teeth and is also involved in energy metabolism.
Manganese contributes to the mineralization of bone tissue.
Copper is essential for normal red blood cell function and iron metabolism.
Zinc is necessary for the normal formation of the fetal skeleton and tissue regeneration, and is a part of some hormones, including insulin.
Indications
Elevit® Pronatal #30
You are choosing which vitamins to take during pregnancy?
Elevit® Pronatal is a unique vitamin and mineral complex which promotes the correct development of the basic organs of the baby – the heart and the brain.
Elevit® Pronatal is recommended to be taken during the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
Elevit® Pronatal helps mothers-to-be supplement with micronutrients essential for the proper development of the child’s major organs. Second and third trimesters of pregnancy:
An unborn baby’s body grows and develops rapidly every day, transforming from a formed embryo to a full human body. During this period, it is important to pay special attention to the development of the heart and brain, on which the functioning of the whole baby’s body depends later on.
For the duration of pregnancy, a woman needs to consider the quality of her diet to provide herself and her baby with all necessary vitamins and micronutrients, the need for which increases by up to 150%. But it is not always possible to get these valuable nutrients from food, because for the sake of the daily norm of vitamins it may be necessary to eat an exorbitant amount of food.
