Echinacea-Vilar, juice 50 ml

Echinacea-VILAR has immunomodulatory action.

Stimulates antibody formation, increases proliferative activity of lymphocytes, stimulates functional activity of phagocytic cells. Echinacea-VILAR has anti-inflammatory and capillary-protective effect.

It activates mainly cellular immunity, stimulates phagocytic activity of macrophages and granulocyte chemotaxis, promotes cytokine release, increases interleukin production by macrophages, accelerates transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells.

Enhances nonspecific resistance of the body, including to influenza and herpes viruses.

Indications

Echinacea-VILAR is used in adults and children from 12 years old as an immunostimulating agent to enhance nonspecific immune response in cases of recurrent acute inflammatory processes or exacerbation of chronic diseases, as well as in diseases accompanied by reduced immune status of the body.

Composition

Juice of fresh Echinacea purpurea herb (Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench):

Echinacea purpurea herb fresh -1710 g,

ethyl alcohol 95%-270 g.

How to take, the dosage

Echinacea-VILAR is prescribed orally after meals with a small amount of water.

In acute period of the disease (first 3-5 days) – 30-40 drops per reception 3-4 times a day; further on – 20-30 drops per reception up to 3-4 times a day for 2 weeks. The maximum single dose is 60 drops (3 ml), the maximum daily dose is 240 drops (12 ml).

The duration of treatment is determined by the patient’s condition and, if necessary, the course may be prolonged up to 1-1.5 months.

In pregnancy the drug shall be used only with the approval of the attending physician.

Interaction

Combined use with antibiotics and other antimicrobials is possible.

The drug should not be taken within 3 days after treatment with cephalosporins.

The drug is incompatible with immunosuppressors.
