Pharmacotherapeutic group:

A plant-based expectorant.

Pharmacological action:

Combined drug, has expectorant, anti-inflammatory action. Thermopsis extract dry enhances the secretion of bronchial glands; licorice extract dry has anti-inflammatory, expectorant and antispasmodic action. Sodium bicarbonate shifts pH of bronchial mucus in the alkaline side, reduces the viscosity of sputum, licorice root has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic action, sodium benzoate and ammonium chloride have expectorant action.

Indications

As an expectorant in respiratory diseases accompanied by cough with sputum difficult to release (including tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia).

Composition

How to take, the dosage

Internal, adults: dissolve the contents of 1 sachet (single dose) in 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of cooled boiled water, take orally 3 – 4 times a day.

The course of treatment is 2 – 3 weeks.

Contraindications

High sensitivity to the components of the drug, acute glomerulonephritis, acute pyelonephritis, pregnancy and breast-feeding period. Sucrose/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, age under 18 years.
