Special instructions

The syrup contains carbohydrates, which must be taken into account by patients suffering from diabetes mellitus, as well as on a low-calorie diet.
1 teaspoon of syrup (5 ml) contains 1.81 g of carbohydrates. The patient receives from 0.9 g (1/2 teaspoon) (corresponding to 0.075 bread units) to 5.43 g (1 tablespoon or 3 teaspoons) (corresponding to 0.45 bread units) carbohydrates per meal.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery
The drug does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving vehicles, working with moving mechanisms).

Contraindications

Should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs and drugs that reduce the formation of sputum, as this makes it difficult to cough up liquefied sputum.
