A combined preparation for external use. The action of the drug is due to its constituent active ingredients: heparin sodium, dexpanthenol, dimethyl sulfoxide.
Dimethylsulfoxide has anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative and local analgesic effect. It penetrates through biological membranes (including through the skin) and promotes deeper penetration into the tissues of other components of the drug and simultaneously used medicines.
Heparin – by inactivating biogenic amines in the tissue has anti-inflammatory activity, improves microcirculation. Heparin inhibits the action of hyaluronidase and thus effectively promotes the regeneration of connective tissue. After application the preparation quickly penetrates into the skin (during the first hour after application the concentration in the underlying tissues corresponds to concentrations reached after intravenous injection of 5 000 IU of heparin).
Dexpanthenol – anti-inflammatory and dermatoprotective effect, improves epithelialization and granulation processes, stimulates regeneration of damaged tissues. After absorption it is converted into pantothenic acid which participates in numerous metabolic processes as a component of coenzyme A. By improving the processes of epithelization and granulation it promotes regeneration of damaged skin.

How to take, the dosage
To be used topically.
Dolobene should be applied 2-4 times a day to the skin over the affected area.
If gel is used under a dressing, apply the product and wait a few minutes to allow it to be absorbed by the skin and the isopropanol to evaporate. A sealant dressing can then be applied.
Dolobene can be used with ionophoresis. The drug is applied under the cathode.
Dolobene as a contact gel can be used in ultrasound therapy (phonophoresis). The active ingredients of the gel complement the therapeutic effect of ultrasound waves.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the symptoms and the severity of the disease.
Special Instructions
The place of application of the gel should be free from other drugs, cosmetics or any chemicals. Dolobene should not be applied to the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose, mouth, open wounds or damaged skin (due to radiation, severe sunburn), postoperative scars.
When treating with the drug, photosensitivity of the skin may increase, so during its use it is necessary to limit intensive sun bathing and visiting the solarium. In case of skin reactions the treatment should be stopped. Due to the high absorption of DMSO, Dolobene should not be used in combination with other ointments and gels.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to one of the components of the gel (active and/or excipients);
bronchial asthma;
severe liver and kidney function disorders;
expressed cardiovascular disorders;
