Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antiaggregative.

Dolac inhibits cyclooxygenase (mainly in peripheral tissues), inhibits the synthesis of GH – modulators of pain sensitivity, thermoregulation and inflammation.

The analgesic effect of Dolac develops in 1/2 hour, reaches a maximum in 1-2 hours and lasts for 4-6 hours.

It inhibits platelet aggregation, reduces the concentration of thromboxane and increases bleeding time.

Composition

1 coated tablet contains ketorolac tromethamine 10 mg.

How to take, the dosage

The drug Dolac is taken orally.

The single dose is 15-30 mg.

In patients weighing less than 50 kg and over 65 years, the single dose may be reduced.

The maximum daily dose is 120 mg.

To treat acute pain in the postoperative period, the first dose is 30 mg, the same dose can be repeated after 15-30 minutes and subsequently 15 mg every 30 minutes (until the maximum daily dose is reached).

The maximum duration of Dolac is 5 days.

Special Instructions

With caution, the drug Dolac should be used in patients with hepatic and renal dysfunction, chronic heart failure, arterial hypertension.

If necessary, the drug Dolac may be prescribed in combination with opioid analgesics.
