Diferton is a dietary supplement for maintaining the function of the reproductive system in women with metabolic syndrome.

It has been found that impaired insulin resistance is associated with the appearance of multiple ovarian cysts, an irregular cycle and elevated androgen levels. As a result, with metabolic syndrome, a woman is less likely to get pregnant. There are non-hormonal substances of natural origin that help restore insulin sensitivity and at the same time help improve the female reproductive system. These include inositol, alpha-lipoic acid, folic acid, vitamin D₃ and manganese, which are included in the product Differton.

Inositol is a vitamin-like substance. Two forms, myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol, have biological activity. In human plasma they are contained in a ratio of 40:1. Myo-inositol is converted to D-chiro-inositol in the body. It is D-chiro-inositol that activates the transfer of glucose from blood to cells and at the same time improves the condition of ovarian tissues and promotes the correct formation of follicles. However, with impaired insulin metabolism, this conversion does not occur and there is a deficiency of D-chiro-inositol in the ovaries.

The effects of Diferton product components on the reproductive system and metabolism

The D-chiro-inositol and myo-inositol complex:

• promotes the onset of a regular menstrual cycle;

Alpha lipoic acid:

The components of the product Differton mutually enhance the effects of each other. For example:

• because of the natural ratio of D-chiro-inositol and myo-inositol, the effect of taking it is achieved in a shorter time;
• manganese potentiates the effects of D-chiro-inositol, allowing the use of lower doses and avoiding side effects;
• alpha-lipoic acid in combination with myo-inositol reduces androgen levels and improves the quality of maturing follicles.

Indications

The use of the product Differton is recommended for women with polycystic ovarian syndrome and with impaired insulin sensitivity (metabolic syndrome).

Composition

Shell-coated tablets weighing 1.43 g.

1 % of the recommended level of daily intake in accordance with TR TS 022/2011 (Annex 2).
2 % of the adequate level of consumption in accordance with the “Uniform Sanitary and Epidemiological and Hygienic Requirements to the Goods Subject to Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision (Control)” (Annex 5).

Auxiliary substances: Microcrystalline cellulose (E460i, carrier); maltodextrin; hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (E464, stabilizer); magnesium stearate (E470, anti-caking agent), amorphous silicon dioxide (E551, anti-caking agent); croscaramellose sodium (E468, stabiliser), polyethylene glycol (E1521, stabiliser); talcum (E553iii, anti-caking agent).

How to take, the dosage

It is taken orally with meals.

Adults are prescribed 1 tablet. 2 times a day.

The duration of treatment is 30 days. If necessary the course of treatment may be repeated.
