Vasodilator; has hypotensive, vasodilator effect, stimulates spinal cord function, has moderate immunostimulatory activity. < br>
It has a direct antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles of blood vessels and internal organs. < br>
Facilitates synaptic transmission in the spinal cord. < br>
The immunostimulatory activity is associated with the regulation of the ratio of cGMP and cAMP concentrations in immune cells (increases cGMP content), which leads to the proliferation of mature sensitized T and B lymphocytes, their secretion of mutual regulatory factors, cooperative response and activation of the final effector function of cells. < br>
It has a short-lived (2-3 h) and moderate hypotensive effect and is well tolerated. < br>
It causes dilation (short-term) of cerebral vessels and therefore is especially indicated for forms of arterial hypertension caused by chronic cerebral hypoxia due to local circulatory disorders (cerebral arterial sclerosis).< br>
< br>
Indications
Spasm of peripheral arteries: coronary spasm, arterial hypertension (including hypertensive crisis); spasm of smooth muscles of internal organs: peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, intestinal colic, renal and hepatic colic; residual effects of poliomyelitis, peripheral facial palsy, polyneuritis.
Pharmacological effect
Vasodilator; has a hypotensive, vasodilating effect, stimulates the function of the spinal cord, and has moderate immunostimulating activity.
It has a direct antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of blood vessels and internal organs.
Facilitates synaptic transmission in the spinal cord.
Immunostimulating activity is associated with the regulation of the ratio of cGMP and cAMP concentrations in immune cells (increases the cGMP content), which leads to the proliferation of mature sensitized T and B lymphocytes, their secretion of mutual regulatory factors, cooperative reaction and activation of the final effector function of cells.
It has a short-lasting (2-3 hours) and moderate hypotensive effect and is well tolerated.
Causes dilatation (short-term) of cerebral vessels and is therefore especially indicated for forms of arterial hypertension caused by chronic hypoxia of the brain due to local circulatory disorders (sclerosis of the cerebral arteries).
Special instructions
It is not recommended to prescribe for long-term treatment of arterial hypertension, especially in elderly patients.
