Dibasol, 10 mg/ml 5 ml 10 pcs

Myotropic antispasmodic agent, benzimidazole derivative. It has antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles of blood vessels and internal organs. Lowers BP by reducing cardiac output and dilating peripheral vessels. Hypotensive activity of bendazole is very moderate and the effect is short-lived.

Causes brief dilation of the cerebral vessels.

It facilitates synaptic transmission in the spinal cord.

The immunostimulatory activity is associated with regulation of the ratio of cGMP and cAMP concentrations in immune cells (increases cGMP content), leading to the proliferation of mature sensitized T- and B-lymphocytes, their secretion of mutual regulatory factors, cooperative response and activation of the final effector function of cells.

How to take, the dosage

Intramuscularly – 2-3 ml of 1% solution 2-3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 8-14 days.

Interaction

When using diuretic drugs, phentolamine and antihypertensive drugs in combination with bendazol, mutual enhancement of hypotensive effect is observed.

The drug when used in combination with beta-adrenoreceptor blockers prevents increase in total peripheral vascular resistance.

Special Instructions

Dibasol is not recommended for long-term treatment of high blood pressure, especially in elderly patients.
