Phytopreparation, the components of which have a normalizing effect on the level of sex hormones.

It has dopaminergic effect, which causes reduction of prolactin production, i.e. eliminates hyperprolactinemia.

The increased concentration of prolactin disrupts gonadotropin secretion, which may result in disorders of follicle maturation, ovulation and corpus luteum phase, which further leads to an imbalance between estradiol and progesterone.

It is this hormonal imbalance that causes menstrual cycle disorders and mastodynia. Cyclodinone normalizes the ratio of gonadotropic hormones, which leads to normalization of the second phase of the menstrual cycle.

Prolactin also has a direct stimulatory effect on proliferative processes in the mammary glands, increasing the formation of connective tissue and causing dilation of the milk ducts. Decreasing the content of prolactin leads to the reversal of pathological processes in the mammary glands and relieves the pain syndrome.

Pharmacokinetics

The action of the twig berries extract is a combined effect of its components; therefore no pharmacokinetic studies are possible.

Special instructions

When storing drops for oral administration, a slight sediment may form, which does not affect the effectiveness of the drug.

Oral drops should not be used after successful treatment of chronic alcoholism.

The patient should be warned about the need to consult a doctor if weakness, depression, pain in the mammary glands, or menstrual irregularities develop while using the drug.

Patients with diabetes can take drops for oral administration, because… a single dose of Cyclodinone contains less than 0.03 XE.

Active ingredient

Common prutnyak fruit extra.

Composition

Active ingredients:

dry extract of common twig fruit 192-288 mg.

sorbitol 70% (non-crystallizing),

Pregnancy

The drug should not be used during pregnancy or during breastfeeding.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions: rarely – skin reactions.

From the side of the central nervous system: rarely – psychomotor agitation, confusion, hallucinations.

Interaction

When used simultaneously with dopamine receptor antagonists, mutual weakening of the effect is possible.

The interaction of the drug Cyclodinone with other drugs has not been described.

Overdose

If the recommended dosage regimen is followed, cases of overdose have not been described.
