Phytopreparation, the components of which have a normalizing effect on the level of sex hormones.

It has a dopaminergic effect, which causes reduction of prolactin production, i.e. eliminates hyperprolactinemia. An increased concentration of prolactin disrupts gonadotropin secretion, which may result in disorders of follicle maturation, ovulation and corpus luteum phase, which further leads to an imbalance between estradiol and progesterone. It is this hormonal imbalance that causes menstrual irregularities and mastodynia.

Cyclodinone normalizes the ratio of gonadotropic hormones, which leads to normalization of the second phase of the menstrual cycle.

Prolactin also has a direct stimulatory effect on proliferative processes in the mammary glands, increasing the formation of connective tissue and causing dilation of the milk ducts. Decreasing the content of prolactin leads to the reversal of pathological processes in the mammary glands and relieves the pain syndrome.

Pharmacokinetics

The effect of common broom fruit extract is the combined effect of its components; therefore it is not possible to perform pharmacokinetic studies.

Pharmacological effect

Special instructions

The tablets contain milk sugar (lactose). Lactose intolerance can be considered as a possible cause of stomach pain and diarrhea that occurs while taking the drug.

The patient should be warned about the need to consult a doctor if weakness, depression, pain in the mammary glands, or menstrual irregularities develop while using the drug.

Patients with diabetes can take tablets because… a single dose of Cyclodinone contains less than 0.03 XE.

Pregnancy

The drug should not be used during pregnancy or during breastfeeding.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions: rarely – skin reactions.

From the side of the central nervous system: rarely – psychomotor agitation, confusion, hallucinations.

Interaction

When used simultaneously with dopamine receptor antagonists, mutual weakening of the effect is possible.

The interaction of the drug Cyclodinone with other drugs has not been described.

Overdose

If the recommended dosage regimen is followed, cases of overdose have not been described.
