The CS-106 is equipped with a cuff that can be placed on the arm with a circumference of 24-42 cm, the method of installation is “overlapping”. The bulb of the device is made of soft, elastic rubber, which allows for easy pumping of air into the pneumatic cuff chamber. There is also an air valve in the blower, equipped with a mesh filter that protects the gauge mechanism and air valve nipples from dust and small particles. The air valve mechanism has a needle valve to allow air to be bled from the cuff at the velocity necessary for pressure measurement. Metal headband tubes are equipped with soft, elastic olives, which fit tightly to the ear holes, not injuring them. ATTENTION! Blood pressure is not a static value and can change significantly even over a short period of time under the influence of numerous internal and external environmental factors.
You should not repeat measurements one after another after a short period of time, as this will distort the measurement results. When blood pressure is taken repeatedly, the blood stagnates, which can lead to incorrect results. For correct repeated measurement, it should be performed only after a pause of 5 – 7 minutes. In this case, you should take into account the possible difference in pressure on the shoulder and on the wrist.
Remember that the physiological difference in blood pressure in the two arms is considered to be up to 10 mmHg. Art.
