Blocks the final stage of hydrochloric acid secretion, reducing basal and stimulated secretion, regardless of the nature of the stimulus.

The level of decrease in hydrochloric acid production depends on the dose of the drug taken. Crosacid does not affect the motility of the gastrointestinal tract.

The secretory activity is normalized in 3-4 days after discontinuation of the drug.

Indications

Peptic ulcer of the stomach or duodenum in the acute phase, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Helicobacter pylori eradication (in combination with antibacterial therapy), reflux esophagitis.
