Indications

The medicine is used in degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the joints and spine: primary arthrosis, osteoarthritis, periodontopathy,intervertebral osteochondrosis, osteoporosis, bone fractures (in order to quickly form a bone callus).

How to take, the dosage

Ingestion with water.

Adults are prescribed 750 mg (3 capsules) 2 times a day for the first 3 weeks, then 500 mg (2 capsules) 2 times a day.

The recommended duration of the initial course of treatment is 6 months; period of action of the drug after discontinuation is 3-5 months depending on the location and stage of the disease; the duration of repeated courses of treatment is determined by the doctor.

Interaction

In concomitant use of the drug Chondroitin with other drugs may increase the effect of indirect anticoagulants, antiaggregants, fibrinolytic agents.

Special Instructions

Caution should be exercised when prescribing in patients with bleeding, as well as in patients with a tendency to bleed.

Contraindications

With caution:

Bleeding and susceptibility to bleeding, thrombophlebitis.
In children – the effectiveness and safety of long-term administration of the drug have not been established.
