Cholesterol” BAA contains chitosan – a biologically active substance obtained from the chitinous shells of red-legged Kamchatka crabs by deacetylation.

The raw materials used in the production of BAA “Cholesterol” contain over 80% of chitosan and about 15% of chitin. Being a natural product, chitosan is absolutely safe and compatible with the human body tissues. Chitosan in the gastrointestinal tract is converted into a gel with high sorption properties. Chitosan molecules attract fat and cholesterol in the digestive tract, eliminating 10-12 times their molecular weight in fat (up to half (!) of all fat taken with food).

Chitosan has a number of positive properties for the body:
