Pharmacological action:

It has locally irritating, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. By stimulating sensitive nerve endings in the skin, it dilates blood vessels and improves trophicity of organs and tissues.

Pharmacokinetics:

On absorption from the surface of the skin it is partially oxidized. The products of its oxidation combine with glucuronic acid and are excreted by the kidneys. Some camphor is excreted unchanged by the respiratory tract and with bile.

Indications

Myalgia, myositis, arthralgia, sciatica, prevention of bedsores.

Pregnancy

The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated (due to the lack of special studies).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, violation of the integrity of the skin or inflammatory skin diseases at the site of intended application (including dermatitis, eczema), pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 18 years of age (due to the lack of data on the safety of the drug in this category of patients).

Allergic skin reactions (urticaria), skin irritation, headache, dizziness.

Overdose

Symptoms: agitation, tachycardia, convulsions. Treatment is symptomatic.

Recommendations for use

Externally, applied to affected and painful areas in the form of compresses and rubbing 2-3 times a day. Duration of treatment – 7-10 days.
There are no specific effects of the drug upon first use or upon discontinuation.

Storage conditions

In a place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºС.
Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life

3 years. Do not use after the expiration date stated on the label.
