An expectorant of vegetable origin.

The drug has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, secretolytic, bronchodilator effect, reduces sputum viscosity and accelerates its evacuation.

Indications

In the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory respiratory diseases accompanied by cough and sputum formation (tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, bronchitis).

How to take, the dosage

Overly, swallow without chewing, with a small amount of water.

Adults and children over 12 years old take 1 tablet 3 times a day before meals.

The average course of treatment is 10-14 days.

Lengthening of the duration and carrying out repeated courses of treatment is possible on the doctor’s recommendation.

Interaction

Bronchipret® TP tablets should not be used concomitantly with anti-cough drugs, as well as with drugs that reduce sputum formation, since this makes it difficult to cough up liquefied sputum.

The combination with antibacterial medicines is possible.

Special Instructions

If during the use of the drug within 7 days the symptoms of the disease persist or the patient’s condition worsens, it is necessary to consult a physician.

The drug may be prescribed to patients with diabetes, because one film-coated tablet contains less than 0.03 countable “bread units”.

Impact on ability to drive and operate vehicles and other mechanisms requiring increased concentration

The drug does not affect the ability to operate vehicles and mechanisms when used in the recommended doses.

Contraindications

Side effects

Allergic reactions due to hypersensitivity to the components of the drug: e.g., shortness of breath, skin rashes, urticaria, swelling of the face, mouth and/or throat.

In case of the first signs of an allergic reaction, discontinue the drug and consult a physician.

Gastrointestinal tract: in rare cases – nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, spastic pain.

Overdose

Symptoms: In case of overdose, there may be pain in the stomach, vomiting, diarrhea.

Treatment: In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment is necessary.

Pregnancy use

Do not use during pregnancy and lactation.
