Pharmacological properties
The drug has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, secretolytic, bronchodilator effects, reduces sputum viscosity and accelerates its evacuation.

Indications

Composition

Active ingredients:
Tyme1 herbal extract liquid3 15,0 g
Ivy common2 leaf extract liquid4 1.5 g
Additives: maltitol syrup, potassium sorbate, citric acid monohydrate, purified water.

How to take, the dosage

Children from 1 year to 2 years – 2,2 ml 3 times a day;
children from 2 to 6 years – 3,2 ml 3 times a day;
children from 6 to 12 years – 4,3 ml 3 times a day;
children from 12 years and adults – 5,4 ml 3 times a day.
With the undiluted preparation Bronchipret® syrup it is recommended to drink water.
Dosing of the preparation is carried out using the supplied measuring cup.
Treatment course is 10-14 days. Increasing the duration and carrying out repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of the doctor.
If during the treatment no improvement occurs or the symptoms worsen or new symptoms appear it is necessary to consult a doctor. Use the drug only according to the indications, the route of administration and in the doses specified in the instructions.

Special Instructions

If during the use of the drug within 10-14 days the symptoms of the disease persist, or dyspnea, fever or sputum with pus appear, you should consult a physician.
The drug contains 6-7% ethanol (by volume). The maximum recommended single dose for adults – 5.4 ml – contains 0.297 g of absolute ethanol, the maximum daily dose (16.2 ml) contains 0.891 g of absolute ethanol.
Prescribe the preparation to children with caution (because of the possible negative effect of ethanol).
Information for patients with diabetes: Recommended single dose for adults, 5.4 ml contains about 0.18 bread units (BE).
When the drug is stored it may slightly cloud over or precipitate, which does not affect its effectiveness.

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles, mechanisms

When using the drug, care must be taken when performing potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration and rapid psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, work of a dispatcher, operator).

Contraindications

High sensitivity to any component of the drug, to other plants of the family Araliaceae and/or Cloverberry, as well as to birch, wormwood, celery; insufficiency of sucrose/isomaltase, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption; pregnancy, breastfeeding period; children (under 1 year). Due to the presence of ethanol, it is not recommended to prescribe the drug in cases of alcoholism, epilepsy, liver disease, brain disease, craniocerebral trauma.

With caution
Gastrointestinal diseases (gastritis, peptic ulcer). Before starting to use the drug, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
