Bronchicum TP, elixir 130 g

The drug has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, bronchodilator, antimicrobial action, reduces the viscosity of sputum and accelerates its evacuation.

Indications

As an expectorant in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (bronchitis, tracheitis, etc.), accompanied by cough with sputum difficult to separate.

How to take, the dosage

Adults – 1 tsp. orally every 2-3 hours (up to 6 times a day).

In younger children – 0.5-1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day.

Interaction

It is not recommended simultaneous use with anti-cough drugs, as well as with drugs that reduce sputum formation, because it makes it difficult to cough up the liquefied sputum.

Special Instructions

If the patient’s condition does not improve, or if there are attacks of suffocation, purulent sputum, or if the temperature rises, you should immediately consult a doctor. Bronchicum Elixir contains 5.46 vol.% of ethyl alcohol.

Contraindications

With caution, and only after consulting a physician, the syrup should be taken by patients with: liver diseases, diseases and brain injuries, epilepsy.

Side effects

Allergic reactions: skin rash;

urticaria;

angioedema of the face and mucous membranes of the mouth and throat (Quincke’s edema).
