Fresh postoperative and post-traumatic scars, meibomitis, blepharitis, pyoderma, abrasions, cuts, violations of the integrity of the skin.

Pharmacological effect

Antiseptic drug (active against gram-positive bacteria).

Special instructions

The activity of the Brilliant Green alcohol solution is significantly reduced if the wound or abrasion bleeds.

Composition

Active substance:
brilliant green – 1 g
excipients:
ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 95%
(in terms of anhydrous ethanol) – 52.07 g
purified water – until a solution weighing 100 g is obtained

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side Effects

Burning at the site of application, upon contact with the mucous membrane of the eye – burning, lacrimation.

Interaction

Brilliant green solution is incompatible with disinfectants containing active iodine, chlorine, alkalis, including ammonia solution.

Storage conditions

In a place protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 20°C.

Shelf life

2 years. Do not use after the expiration date stated on the label.
