Boron ointment, ointment 5% 25 g

Boric ointment is an antiseptic.

It has weak bacteriostatic and fungistatic properties, has antipediculosis effect.

In combination with oxyquinoline sulfate it has contraceptive properties.

Indications

Antiseptic agent for use in ENT practice, dermatology, ophthalmology.

Contraception (in combination with oxyquinoline sulfate).

boric acid 5 g;

Vaseline 95 g.

How to take, the dosage

Special Instructions

Do not apply to large areas of the body. Do not use externally on hair-covered areas with acute inflammatory skin conditions.

Boric acid in its specific dosage form should be used strictly according to the indication.

Contraindications

Kidney function disorders, childhood, mammary gland treatment (before nursing), pregnancy, hypersensitivity to boric acid.

Side effects

Possible: in overdose and prolonged use, as well as in case of impaired renal function, acute and chronic toxic reactions (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, headache, confusion, seizures, oliguria, shock) may occur.
